I am honored and privileged to be entrusted by the revered Venerable Chancellor Dr. Dhamma Piya to serve as the Pro-Chancellor of Dhamma Dipa International Buddhist University, with the goal of creating a globally accredited center of excellence and fostering sustainable livelihoods, initially within our home state and subsequently in less developed markets worldwide. Our commitment is to provide higher education that empowers young minds to be confident, self-reliant, and dynamic in their professional lives.

We have developed a unique model in collaboration with industry, integrating skill training and apprenticeships to directly benefit underprivileged and ambitious youth in our country. We are dedicated to conducting all programs in compliance with the National Credit Framework (NCF) and the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020), thereby creating an educational ecosystem conducive to generating employment opportunities and fostering self-employment in the technological world.

Today's educational ecosystem must be industry and self-employment-centric. DDIBU has established a platform to meet these objectives. The youth of the North-Eastern states, and subsequently, society at large, will benefit in numerous ways. Our Industry Integrated Skill Development Training and Apprenticeships (ISTA) model is designed to serve the needs of individuals worldwide. Through this model, candidates can obtain vocational certificates, diplomas, and degrees. The industry provides stipends to trainees, along with practical exposure. ISTA supports candidates financially, provides practical training, and instills confidence at every level, ensuring that trainees are prepared for industry relevance.

We also operate other skill development models in collaboration with the government, leveraging funding, CSR initiatives, flexible memoranda, the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), and more. We stand ready to support you in becoming employable or self-employable in any capacity.
