The B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering is offered as a 4-year undergraduate program for students after 10+2 and a 3-year lateral entry program for diploma holders in relevant fields. The program builds a strong foundation in programming, software development, data structures, and algorithms, while also integrating emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
Through both entry modes, the department ensures a robust academic structure that emphasizes innovation, hands-on experience, and cross-disciplinary applications. The department ensures that students from both the 4-year and 3-year lateral entry tracks receive equal opportunities in internship and placement preparation. Regular training in technical aptitude, interview handling, communication skills, and portfolio building is conducted.
The university supports internship experiences during summer and final-year projects through academic, government, and startup channels. These engagements give students exposure to real-world software development environments, helping them build confidence, technical expertise, and work-readiness.

The Department actively encourages students to participate in technical events, coding challenges, workshops, and hands-on training bootcamps to strengthen their practical skills. Events such as tech quizzes, software exhibitions, group projects, innovation showcases, and peer-led coding sessions are regularly held. While formal seminars or national workshops are yet to be introduced, the department is actively building partnerships to launch guest lecture series, industry talks, and technical awareness campaigns to enrich student experience beyond the classroom.
